Mary Horton

has lived in the West of Newcastle all her life. Her conversation is a splendid eye-opener on local history and memory. She told me about places she went as a child and a young woman, and I went off to find them. There are only two of Mary’s stories here, but I am sure there will be more now that she has developed a taste for filming them.
